Anyone have a gently used ship they want to sell? Must be equivalent to a sloop or higher.

So I picked up assassin's creed... kinda neat, lots of decent new climb-ie and kill-ie techniques. Pretty good story too... feels kinda like a movie for the most part, different camera angles and interactive cut scenes... it does, however, get fairly repetitive... the little sub/side missions that you do to gain intel on the the main assassination subject for each mission are pretty much the same fours tasks over and over... climb something high, rescue a peon, eavesdrop on a few people, pick pocket something from someone else, and then climb something high again to find more side missions... i've realized its just another method of the level grind, cleverly disgused as something else... but at least you can skip most of it if you want, and jump pretty much straight to the kill, though if you do, you will be at a distinct disadvantage. meh. over all though, i do like the sand box feel and its got a fairly emersive enviro thing going on... i just wish i could have bought armor or weapons and the like. i guess i can always play some oblivion if i need the true rpg fix... then again, i miss my mmo's.... *sniff* i admit it. i like to brag. i mean whats the point of owning the best armor in the game or killing the hardest boss if there is no one there to brag about it to??? lol.

god i need a gta style sand box mmo with rpg undertones, levels and armors... oh and the ability to buy houses/create communities... Grand Theft Nation.... some one get me a pitch meeting with rockstar right away puhlease!

so, firstly, or something along that line... a or 1 or um... prime er uno... um... so i'm not sure anyone even bothers to come here anymore, but then again i'm not really sure that many people did. But, heck, since i've got a bit more time in the "evenings" after work, i figured i might as well spend a bit of time updaterizing. oh... and i won't be spell checking or like prolly proof reading posts... cause well i'm lazy and i'm using the built in cms news creation function on the main page... So yeah... where did we leave off?

i'm working at a bank now... kinda.... not kinda working, but as in its kinda sorta a bank... its a credit card issuing bank, the canadian subsiderererarything of bank of america.. wootys. I'm doing, get this, customer service... but i actually don't mind it so much this time around... or well, at least for now. i've learned a lot of bank-a-nese and a ton about keeping good credit bureau stuffs. btw my credit rating is like insanely good which was very odd considering all the student loan bs from like 8 years ago! yay for 7 year cycles! heh. after the education i was placed on a team that worked 11 hour days, four days a week.. i liked having three days off, but the work days were just way way way too long... so about three weeks back i transfered to evening shifts ... monday-friday... 5pm to 2am or so... (give or take an hour) so i get the weekends off and i don't have to get up early at all... and pretty much thats the way i like it.. plus when i get home after work i've got plenty of time to watch to shows/tv/xboxen/rant etc... so meh, i'm happy. plus the pay is better than the last place, and it have full benefits included... i don't have to pay and amelia is covered by them as well.... and um... pretty much as much ot as i feel like putting in.... so yeah, thats better.

on the house front, we still haven't started doing the upstairs bathroom yet... we did go to a designer place for shits and giggles to see what they would quote.. no lie.. like 18 freaking k... 18k for a basic bathroom... thats just nuts... i mean like no fancy tub shit or magic mp3 playing toilet seats or rainbow strobe lighted shower head... 18k! hah... i mean, yeah, we want in floor heating but still... lol. instead we will prolly purchase the fixtures, tiles, and such ourselves and have them installed by a general contractor... oh and i guess i should tell you our winter has had like 5 tonnes of snow this year... and our roof started leaking a while back during two weeks or so of milder (-5ish) weather... it's stopped again now... but we'll prolly have to have some work done on that as well. i know some of the leaks are fixable (just at the flashing) and at least one at the front may be a guttering issue... still that may cost a bit to get a resolution.

um.. has anyone been watching the new canadian shows this year? jpod is fricken sweet... while the border and mvp are good for what they are. torchwood is back on the brit side.. as is primeval... they are choc full of campy goodness. Oh and Ashes to Ashes will be starting soon... i can't wait to see Gene Hunt again... man i love that character.... and well of course there this the whole BSG final season... i just hope to heck they don't split it into two parts... but thanks to the frackin writers strike thats pretty much a given.

Gaming side...I've been playing alot of 360 over the last couple months... finally finished dead rising... though i'm not even close to getting 1/5th of the achievements... call of juarez filled the western fix i needed... still haven't finished the halo 3 campaign, but then again, has anyone? finished bioshock on hard, got all the unlocks except the new one they added... finished CnC 3, that was fun...um... still working on crackdown occasionally. completed marvel ultimate alliance...again, something that i should have done along time ago.. I've still got starwars, lost planet, splinter cell, chromehounds, and condemned to start on... though i'm sure i'll end up picking up assassins creed long before i get any of them done. i really really need to focus. On the PC i played the movies again just for fun.. also homeworld ... for no real reason.. i also reinstalled galactic civ3 and wasted a couple nights getting out researched by the ai. i've been thinking about resubing to either EvE or WoW... but then again... they do tend to eat up so much time... so i'm really really trying to be strong.

jon-o is back from china and will be in the ottawa area sometime in feb-ish.. he's been working on a new film with mike, which i'll try and get up on the site sometime in the future... once all is done.. i'm thinking about starting a couple new projects but i'll have to see... and i think thats all the news fit to print for about now...

Currently in week 3 of 5 week education at new job. 9 hour days. Wheee.
Played Bioshock.. = Great.
Playing Halo3 = Good enough Singleplayer. Great Multi.
Have 7 other games for 360 i have yet to have a chance to play. Need more time.
Lots of new shows this season on tv.
Journeyman, Chuck, Reaper, Bionic Woman, Pushing Daisies, etc...
Too many really.
I'm sure they will be gone soon.
Only because i like them.
